I gave and threw away hundreds of them. Now all my possessions fit in that single chest, furniture and appliances excepted. Feels good man.

I'm not waiting for anything really. I'm exactly where I want to be. I have a bed, a chair, a table and a chest with belongings in a tiny room and share the rest with my family. A third (~€210) of my check goes to them for food and utility bills and the like and the rest I spend on other things I need (clothes, toiletries, insurance) and a few luxuries. The only thing that's a bit hard as a poorfag is changing locations, but for now I'm alright here. I do what I want, when I want.

Good to hear. You could also get into minimalism and frugalism and the like. There's something very soothing and pleasant about not owning more than you need and knowing where everything you own is. One of the best lifestyle decisions I've made.

>Distractions are everywhere. No matter what you do you'll find something to distract yourself. Break your TV, stop paying for internet, lock yourself in a room, and you will still find something to do besides reading and writing.
That's true, but the degree in which it's present still matters. That's why they have more success concentrating in monasteries than in your average living room/couch potato entertainment center. Pic related, try to distract yourself there by anything other than staring and daydreaming (thereby accidentally being productive).

And painting her hair. Fake frugalism 2/10 would not bang.

The best practical way to achieve something close to this is get a studio apartment, bring your possessions down to a minimum, store everything in your kitchen cabinets (thanks Zizek) and just have a bed and perhaps table/chairs. Works wonders for your general serenity.

I'm currently in the progress of getting diagnosed. So far it's thought to be some kind of yet unspecified personality disorder. My goal is to get declared completely unfit for work so that I may live a happy life.

Currently into Hellenistic philosophy and the good simple life. Used to be more into nihilistic despair and pessimism trying to combat it with ever failing Nietzscheanism with short spells of fetishizing Eastern stuff.
