I really liked this book until it became the Tumblr Bible

the girl i love gave me her copy of pic related. she has highlighted some occasional sentences and mentioned we could watch the movie (which ive seen) after im done with it. im a senior drop out, she is a sophmore.

why do i like girls with such boring taste?

I am pursuing writing in this genre, are there books anon would recommend? Is this too low brow?

Personally, speaking on pic-related, and considering I have only read it once time nearly two years ago, I think it's brilliant. I am obsessed with the vibe he creates; hard to digest it's his only novel.

how do we feel about pic related? i think there's a certain charm in the melodrama found in young adult books

This good book is a solid read. As a sophomore in high school it had a deep effect on me. I re-read it as a senior and could still relate. Does /lit/ relate any of parts of their early youth and adolescence to a specific book?

ITT: YA trash you view as acceptable and actually enjoy, even if only as a guilty pleasure.

pic related. I think it is one of the most accurate coming of age narratives I have ever read. I think it is pleasantly written, and I think it would make for a great entry book for a high school freshmen English class.
