My theory it that NSFW reports are handled by a site-wide janny team while board-specific reports are handled by board-specific jannies, because the former tend to get cleaned up quickly while the latter stay up for longer. And it is our board janny who is AWOL.

If it's a philosophy course you can cut down on words by presenting your argument in the format of numbered propositions. It helps both to cut the argument to its bare necessities, but also to shorten your proceeding points because you can just focus on the premises you need to address. something like:
>(P1): If we are to take moral discourse seriously, we must have recourse to some truthmakers of our moral propositions (premise)
>(P2): There are no moral facts that correspond to our moral discourse (error theory)
>(P3): Only moral facts can serve as truthmakers to our moral discourse (premise)
>(PC): The Error theorist cannot seriously support moral discourse (1, 2, 3)
You can then refer to different premises by their number (ie, as P1 states...). it also helps to argue against a position if you can pinpoint the premises or inferences which are most susceptible to counter-argument. It should cut down your word count and also make the argument clearer.

They want to eliminate a hostile voting base and lower public spending so they can perpetuate the belief that they are sound economic managers. It's a pretty by-the-books strategy.
