>One thing I like pointing out in these random poetry threads is how much one tends to gravitate towards the usage of words with immense baggage to convey what they vaugely mean for the reader to feel, which just cheapens the poem as a whole in my eyes. Shit like "warm Energy", "kiss" or "smile", "love" and "peace". These symbols are way overused. The old head of the literature department in my former high school has told me upon seeing my fledgeling attempts at the craft, that he would always focus on omitting such turns of phrase as a challenge, as they always act like shortcuts towards a certain emotion, and poems should always be about the journey taken, and never about the thing in the end you wish to capture. In general it feels like the picture you paint here is very unremarkable.

No, a slave morality can entrench and refine itself, and reinforce a nihilistic hedonism.
