Which books will help me know myself and uproot the psychological sources of my problems?

Are there any works of literature which are as imaginative as Hegel in their prose? I get so tired of literature where they just talk about normal stuff. I also am not looking for magical, or science fiction works. I want a work of prose philosophy which doesn't just talk about regular, every day stuff like 99.99% of literature.

How do you guys find those sales / thrifts where everything's like $2 while still having good stuff in there? All my thriftstores around me usually only have poppy trash or common things like Shakespeare I already have so I'll find myself spending 10 minutes or so looking just to find nothing

Hello /lit/, I was looking to begin reading Carl Jung and while there are many flowcharts from /lit/ breaking down which books to read in which order for many topics and philosophers, I haven't been able to find one regarding Jung. Was wondering if any anons on here had any recommendations as to which books of his are essential and in which order they should be read for proper understanding?

My cock aches and my mind reels as I'm flung spinning through infinite space. 29 major revolutions and 550420 minor, my baseline is dizziness. I have never been still for an instant and pray I find repose after my last breath. Time and the hour runs through the dullest day. More movement on top of the endless revolutions as a I swing on a pendulum between boredom and suffering. Have I never not been nauseous?

I'm that Eastern Euro guy who was enthusiastic about going back to university at 24 (after two years of NEETing) and studying Classics as an undergraduate before applying to become an English/German-Hungarian translator (since translation can only be chosen as an MA field after any other BA degree).

Everything about it feels pointless. I could study the Classics much faster and more effectively by myself, I wouldn't have to study reheated western theory from the 80s on the side and accept the shit takes of the professors, my time and energy wouldn't be wasted on travelling to and fro between classes (and between my hometown and the university's town) on crappy, dirty, overcrowded buses, I wouldn't have to live in a crappy, dirty, overcrowded shitheap they call dormitory with two other retards in a single room, and for what other reason am I putting myself through all this (and coursework) but to get a paper that will allow me to get another paper that won't even guarantee employment or that I won't be phased out by machine translation? I don't even care about translating legal documents, advertisements, and all that crap, it's just that languages are the only thing I'm okay at, I have no other skills besides it.

I've barely started but I already want to go back to NEETing things up and just learning French and Italian on my own while polishing my German skills and maybe getting some crappy part-time job with those skills, my mother and brother would probably be disappointed, but I can't really find it in my heart to care about what they think of me so long as it does not affect my living situation. I also have some pressing physical matters (teeth straightening, going to a doctor with my knees and hip) that I want to take care of that I don't have the time for with uni in the way, I simply can't find it in me to contribute to a society that never gave me anything and that never cared about me either, I am absolutely shameless in abusing every loophole I can to do the minimum amount of work needed to get by in it. It deserves nothing less than my scorn. What am I going to miss out on in such a way? No way someone like myself is ever going to find himself in a functional relationship with a serviceable woman, and so if not for family, then for what else are men ought to make slaves of themselves? Even people who do "all the right things" get fucked over all the time in the romantic and economic sphere of our times : I have zero interest in gambling and making a fool of myself.

God knows my dream is to do all I can to spite this disgusting world.

The symbology of your dream is not something that can be approached casually. We would need more information about your upbringing, education, and current affairs to understand.
Are you dreaming of both of these things?

I am reading Man and His Symbols for the first time and it feels like I am really broadening my intellectual horizons. It's like wading into unmapped territory, there is so much unknown about the mind, and Jung's ideas almost feel mystical.
Do any of you keep a dream journal to study the symbols that your unconscious produces?
Is there anything about Jungs ideas that arent taken seriously by modern psychology that I should be aware of?
Where to go after man and his symbols?

Has it helped you recall dreams more clearly and analyze the Jungian symbolism that your unconscious is trying to show you?
