Im quite ashamed to admit that the game actually made me want to sign up for UN peacekeeping training to go and serve in Africa. Well, not because of the game per-say, but it was the thing that really sparked my interest in African conflicts.

I mean, I didnt just finish the game and went HURR I WANNA HELP, after finishing it I was really intrigued and spent hours on wikipedia, UN sites, watching documentaries and the likes to know all about current African conflicts. I even went as far as sending an application email to the UN, asking the details and specifications I'd have to go through to be adequate to serve.

After about 3 months of doing all this research, I felt I was ready to go and try to apply, but chickened out at the last few days because the enthusiasm was wearing off and I wasnt sure I could put my money where my mouth is and actually shoot a man when push came to shove.

Maybe in the future... I dont know. But regardless I think for the time being I'll stick to playing vidya rather than try and be a hero. At least I improved my health for about 3 months of jogging and working out.
