Why are Christians so anti-abortion? The baby is never a victim:
>the baby dies and goes to hell
Absurd, as a loving God would never allow this.
>baby dies and goes to heaven
Then the baby is blessed as it was not given a chance to go to hell.
>baby dies and is reincarnated
Considering most abortions are done by parents who feel incapable of supporting the child, this outcome is probably good on average.

In all cases, the only victim is the mother herself, mostly due to shame/guilt. But since no harm is done to the baby, the mother should not suffer so much because of her choice. But abortion is a big taboo, so women are hesitant to do it. I believe abortion is perceived as terrible and disgusting because of natural law, not spiritual law, as from an evolutionary perspective, it makes little sense to purposely kill your children, or at least it instinctually does not feel right.

How do Christians respond to these arguments? Do they actually believe God has no problems sending babies to hell forever? And if the baby is not a victim, why would God punish the mother?
