What's the best Bible translation - KJV or the Douay-Rheims?

Specifically, I am aware of the many historical inaccuracies throughout. However, the question of Biblical Inerrancy seems confusing to me. Part of this doctrine is that the author's context and intention must be considered. In that case, what is the problem with such inaccuracies? Clearly, the OT was written as ethnonationalist Jewish propaganda with little knowledge of or thought given to historical accuracy or sense of scale. So given this intent, is that "Inerrant"? I'm sure most Christians, outside of mainline Prots, would disagree. But why?

>tfw finished the King James Bible
>tfw now developed somehow comprehension of other books
>tfw the Bible taught me how to read correctly with comprehension
