What could you have done if you added all the time you've spent on one of these basket weaving forums and applied it to something useful?

If, like me, you've spent long enough on 4chan to have read every one of the classics but have still not finished them, why?

Is it an addiction, or some other legitimate reason?

Why do we feel the need to talk with other humans about our mental, spiritual or physical journeys instead of just going on the damn Journey?
