I didn't actually read it. I relied on my friends to update me on what happened in the book (for tests) and it sounded pretty shitty.

I'm making a presentation on this and one of the topics I am doing is the generational gaps between the mothers and daughter.

Could I get a little help for some specific examples?

I haven't seen this book discussed on /lit/ maybe because it's a bad book to most. I actually like the technique of interweaving the mother/daughter stories together. Some of the parts maybe too overdramatic (I kill my baby to get back at my cheating husband, or you are a good woman since you take the worst crab), but I enjoyed the book when I read it.

Expecting the hate in 3...2...1.
