I’m a /lit/fag, but I’ve had trouble reading ever since winter started. The cold induced anxiety makes it impossible for me to focus. In the meantime, I spend my days exercising, smoking weed, socializing and sleeping with women—nothing more. What should I do to get back into reading? Surely I can’t be the only one feeling this way.

Well, the Greek half of the Roman Empire (Byzantine) lasted a lot longer than the Roman west so you might have a point. Everything good about Rome was lifted from the Greeks, and Rome was too Western European for me to not suspect it formed some part of the foundation of the liberal, hyperindividualist, decadent western boomer hells we live in today
