Not huge. $5 - $25 depending on length, more if it's really spectacular. Plus a few copies of the journal, which will be worth like $20. Not a fortune, but at least it's something...

Print. Letterpress covers and offset body. Digest-size perfect bound.

It is possible that a hosting space will be purchased and a website built for it (in which case it would be hosted itself online as well) but it's primarily, at least for this one edition, a print work.

2. Have you solicited any authors for you first issue?

Yes, several.

3. What's the planned duration of the magazine? Indefinite?

Indefinite, unless it is only one issue. I think they would like to do more though, if there's enough interest.

It's called "The New American." It is styled after journals from the 1920's/30's, like the American Mercury. There will be a piece in French at the end because that's how they closed journals back in the day.
