Honestly, I don't really see how anyone can invest that much time if they're only purpose is to keep up an image. I spend about an hour and a half every morning and evening on a train to college most days, and its probably my favorite time of the day for the simple reason that I enjoy it. I like reading.

Who are you trying to impress by being looked upon as well read or intellectual? Girls, or anyone for that matter, don't really give a fuck whether you're reading Camus or Satre. It might prove different if you're a girl as the people who spend their Saturday nights on this board could possibly share at least one interest with someone of the opposite sex.
