I have three whole books in my head and I could likely write one of them out in 4-6 months if I started right now. The two books that are likely to ever get done are in a somewhat grounded setting, one has an emphasis on horror and the other has a offbeat theme of nilhisim for a lack of a better description. The one that is least likely to ever be finished however is just pure fantasy, I could turn this into a whole omnibus if I ever decide to get on top of it, but I feel like it would be easy for the setting and plot to get way out of hand for me.

I'm going to see my mom on the weekend and she's going to ask me why I don't have a girlfriend again and I'm not going to be able to give her an answer that makes sense to her so I will deflect the question and she will look at me with sad eyes again and I will become frustrated because for her it is such a reasonable question because I have hidden my burdens from her so well and she is too old to possibly understand how fucked up I am and how fucked up dating for young people is in general and how fucked up my peers are and how honest to god Ugly I am, she's can't wrap her head around these things so I will probably ask her how her work is going and hope she leaves it well alone or I think of something interesting to talk about

Do any of you know anything about learning Latin by working with a text and dictionary? Is this method at all possible?
It strikes me as difficult because, while it would be easy to find what the words themselves mean, the aspects of voice/tense/case seem too complex to pick up without at a cursory knowledge of the systems of grammar. Also, the complexity seems made even more complex given that there exist many different dialects within the language. All this makes me think that I would need to just keep working through Wheelock's section by section.
I really want to pick up Latin so I can read the epic poets, definitely Ovid and Virgil. Something about a language that makes such precise use of grammar within the morphology itself is so beautiful to me. أأ

It's funny, when I was pretty young I posted a shitty little short story in a crit thread. Someone replied to it with really in-depth but scathing criticism, including suggestions how I could improve the writing but also the story in general. Instead of being grateful I got super defensive and said some dumb shit like "Hey man I'm young cut me some slack" and he left the thread. Now I'd literally pay that anon to criticize my work and I can't get a single anon to even reply to my writing

It occurred to me the other day that I've literally never had sex with a girl that wasn't severely depressed. Not a big number, only nine of them in total since I was 18, but all depressed with some sort of mental illness. I've always felt like women had a sixth sense for mental illness, a little siren that went off in their head and guided them away from men like me. I retrospect the only women who have ever stooped so low as to hook up with me had devastatingly low self esteem. The only ones who could viscerally sense my brokeness but were so broken themselves they affiliated with me anyways out of self hatred, kind like a punishment for themselves. Hooking up with me as substitute for cutting themselves. Only the smallest ounce of self esteem and they come to their senses and ignore me.
The last five threads I've posted in have died immediately after the fact.
I wish I had the courage to kill myself.
