Both Marxism and National-Socialism define the basic unit of understanding when it comes to society not as the individual but as the class.

For Marx the fundamental classes for understanding are the workers and the owners. The majority of society can be explained by analysis of the tension between these two classes.

For the National Socialist the basic unit is the national spirit. The national spirit is what animates the great thing a society is doing, and it exists in struggle with non-aristocratic forces like the democracy, the jews, etc, who are seen as trying to undermine defining character of the people of a nation in order to make them simply commercial or to level them with people they should not be leveled with.

National socialism operates using more poorly defined categories than Marx because Marx was actually describing reality wheras Hitler was basically a romantic.

Meta-modernism is work that, like modernist work, sincerely seeks to construct a world view, a comprehensive philosophy. Unlike modernism, however, and LIKE postmodernism, metamodernism includes skepticism of its own project in it. It may deconstruct its own assumptions, contain contradicting or ironic elements that don't allow for a resolution.
