i think that Waiting for Godot works on both ends of the scale, for the bourgeois to understand and appreciate it for it's seemingly irrelevant proceedings and general tone of nothing really matters, however i also think it works very well for the other end of the spectrum. Those most affected by a society in which wealth is so separated, prisoners. A lot of prisoners have loved the play because they totally understand what it's like to actually do nothing much like Vlad and Estra.

But that's just my opinion on it, that it's isn't necessarily ONLY an abject expression og Bourgeois ideaology but that it also breaches the gap between the Bourgeois and the criminals, who experience somewhat the same things yet because of totally unrelated circumstances.

Might be totally wrong but heyy, just throwing it out there.
