This is what this quote has always read to me. Making artwork specifically "for kids" is infantilizing at best and is a big reason why many supposed adults have "Disney brain" ie, they have the media literacy of children. Moreover, this has also lead to a bigger problem of people championing babyshit as the height of maturity while pubertal, transitional, or remotely dramatic content is now shat on by nerds.
