Someone say something about Void because I liked it a lot.

Being verbose isn't a good thing, and if the author doesn't have a good handle on the language he uses it's going to detract from the story. The language should serve a purpose. Since anon was on about Bones of the City, I'll say I found it interesting, but the writing can be tough to get through. (The author chimed in last thread and said he's writing "meandering, maximalist piece of experimental fiction", which I'm assuming Bones is a sample of.) He shoots for something abstract without a strictly coherent narrative, and the verbosity on top of that makes it incoherent at times.
