Trans are one issue, but there's another group of people all types of performatism can't account for:

Autists.

Social constructivists use autist as an insult because they seem to be perturbed by it. At its heart there is a repressed sexual fantasy, of wanting to be plowed by someone who doesn't care about your feelings, while insulting them in a way that doesn't faze them the way it would most males, or having an autist satisfy your sexual partner in a way you can't.

Calling someone an autist and then having them continue in their behavior would allow you to live out this fantasy safely. Its a sort of pseudo mating call.

He then goes on to explain how he replaced the hypothesis of the guilt of the father with the hypothesis of the Oedipus complex (guilt of the child).
