In the moment of pain, the rate of one's relief/relevation should exceed that of one's injury/damage; Sofia's optimism should outweigh, and outrun, Ialdabaoth's pessimism; one shoud be capable of inflecting light in the darkest of places, and of respirating in the pollutest of spaces; one should be hotter than it is cold.

The only similarity between dishevelled vicious, and sheltered virtuous, individuals is that they are both fearful: the former is afraid of the responsibility of being possessed of faith, whilst the latter is afraid of acting on faith.

The combative virtuous individual perpetually remains on the verge of vice, and on the edge of error, knowing darkness without touching abyss, integrally mobilizing the devices available to him; with optimism, through prospiration, via arteriogenesis, always connected to the narrow way, traversing life without the need for any crutches.

Degree of suffering that is necessary for learning —and, consequently, for perfection— is directly proportional to degree of restitution that is required for nobility in spacetime, and to degree of glory that is imperative for nobility in timespace.

In order to reach, and maintain, the fourth wind in the moment of one's suffering, the rate of one's relief/relevation should exceed that of one's injury/damage.
