Help me with a creative writing assignment /lit/. I need a name for a non-existent religion that sounds legit. The more unsettling the name, the better but yet, it can't be too directly unsettling. I'm looking for something very subtle.

i.e. exampleism.

Hello /lit/, I've recently started reading a lot, and I'd like some recommendations based on the books I've read, and those I've not yet read but are on my wishlist. Here's a little list, I'll mark those I've read or still reading as '(R)':
Herman Hesse - Siddhartha
Jack Kerouac - The Dharma Bums
Jack Kerouac - On the Road (R)
Hunter S. Thompson - The Gonzo Papers
Franz Kafka - The Trial (R)
J.J. Ballard - The Atrocity Exhibition
Tom Wolfe - The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test
Carlos Castenada - A Separate Reality (R)

I hope you can deduce my preferences a bit through that list. Thanks in advance.

Neat, my thread is still around

That's pretty cool, I've liked William Blake for a while but I didn't know he influenced Morrison. Another one to add to the list then.

Also added to the list.
Looks like I've got enough reading material now to last me at least 'till the end of the year. Before I start all this I'm going to read Goncharov's 'The Frigate Pallada' though, I've had it lying around for a while now.
