I've heard people alternatively worship this as the greatest prose to ever grace the genre or decry it as a Mary Sue power fantasy. convince me to try it or ignore it, either one, just convince me

I'm a third through the book and women are only serving wenches, moms, whores, girlfriends, or objects of attraction mentioned in passing.

I mean, I really love the writing style, the emotive visceral language, the setting and world building really do come across as someone experienced with /tg/ and general fantasy history without being derivative. But it's pretty glaring how empty of women the story is.

I'm pretty ambivalent towards SJWs but even i'm pretty struck by it whilst reading through the book.

Thoughts? Am I just more conscious of it now because of all the propaganda and shit out there on this subject?
