I think it was a running gag on the show that Al would get enticed by some strutting bimbo, restrain himself at first, and then we would see him run to pick up his wife and take her upstairs over his shoulder, implying that he was horny. Implying that he would get horny via other women but channel it into his monogamy. Boomer joke. Pretty funny. I'm a boomer at heart, I can't explain it -- my parents were forty when they had me. Anyway, my point is that I understand the boomer mindset. That's not my point. My point is that I tend to tease myself with younger girls and then proceed to take that invigoration and channel it into spicing things up with my wife. It's impossible to explain what motivates a boomer.
