Do people use ereaders? I rarely see people use them. I have a kindle and I used it a few years ago on the bus commute to work. But I've hardly used it since, mainly because I don't normally bring a backpack with me when I go out and it's too big to have in your jacket pocket. I also think it's extremely slow. With a smartphone you also have options such as searching for words online with the same device. The screen is smaller and not paper-like though.

Do people use e-readers?

I've got an old kindle. I'm kind of fed up with it.

Is it any good? I have an old kindle with buttons and no touch screen, that looks like in the picture. It's OK for me I guess, but sometimes a bit slow, I mean the processor is a bit slow. Also has some other drawbacks, for example isn't always great for PDF files. If you want to type just a word or two that's fine, but forget about writing several sentences, takes all day. It's good that you can put your fingers on the screen and nothing happens, I can imagine that's an advantage compared to touch screen kindles.

Does anyone have a kindle or other e-book reader with touch screen? Is it good? Which is better, touch screen or buttons? And also, which e-book reader is the best one?
