Who was more influential for 60's counter-culture: Pynchon or Dylan?

For me, it's simple: all of western literature, most philosophy and history, and even some science and math are contained within the works of the Pynchmeister. From 1 to 5, I can safely say Pynchon is my favorite.

Who would you say is a writer that is (better than/as good as/nearly as good as) Pynchon, but on the opposite end of the spectrum in terms of style? Beckett?
