The Everymans Library might be the nicest hardcover edition of The Iliad (that I've found).

I have to confess, I’ve been reading for 7+ years, 300+ books, but I never read the Iliad. From seeing it referenced so many times, I figured I knew everything. The Odyssey was just okay IMO, so I was reluctant to read the Iliad. I just bought this Fitzgerald translation (I’ve read Fitzgerald’s Odyssey too) and I am loving it. It is so much better than The Odyssey that I’m not sure why they are said in the same breath besides Homer. I’m a retard for not reading this sooner
