What you are looking for is someone with very deep existential and moral issues, the type of person that hurts himself by thinking to much. Those are the kind of writers that fly between internal conflict and end up falling into a never ending depression. Just got myself into that void of self-destruction, can't help more than that. You can look for screenwriters work at the blacklist, thats the type of web you are looking for, is highly probable that many of those are also writing some novels. Post your findings, it would be great for the writing community to have knowledge of places like blcklist.

I'm about to start reading Will Durant's 'The Story of Philosophy' while reading primary sources (The Republic, Meditations, etc.) in order to educate myself on philosophy. Two questions:
