Not going to lie guys... I'm kind of fucking up my read of this book. Or listen rather. I haven't slept since yesterday, and my mind is failing, and the audiobook is just playing in my ear as a tune in and out and fight sleep. I'm 2/3rds into the book, and I don't think I've retained a shred of information of half of that. I'm going to have to re-listen to most of the book.

But hey... At least Roy Avers makes the book sound fun. So glad I didn't setting for Jonathan Davis. God, I hope Jon or anyone he knows visits this thread. Because I can't contain how much I hate his narration. I don't want him to see my posts where I shit on him. But also fuck him.

Anyway, I'm going to sleep now. Good night.

reading this right now. Can't say if it qualifies as pure sci fi but whatever.
It's VERY weird. It reads like a dream. Characters and locations are introduced and dispensed with at will, the plot is almost secondary to the environment. I think this is one of those you either love or hate. But I found myself almost completing it in three days

What did he mean by this? This is probably the best worst book I've ever read. How do the following novels rank? Is random words generator guy going to stick around? I kind of started warming up to him.

I'm probably going to get this because it recommended and has interesting cover, but is it actually good or some prehistoric LOTR, Dune Sci-fi novel?
why is it good if it is?

I am trying to get into reading once again (I only read one or two books per year) and a friend recommended me these books since I like fantasy stuff.

I was reading some reviews and many of them say that the books from this author are extremely complex and you need to focus on many small details on each one of them.

Should I consider something less complex before reading these books (I was thinking in reading the Dune series)?

Does this series get any better? I read pic related but wasn't that thrilled. I feel it could get better though. Just wondering if I should continue or go read something else.

What would /lit/ say the theme of tbotns is?

im not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with the subjectivity of experience?
