The repression of the desiring machines by psychiatry is concretized as we will see by the looping of delirium through isolation, medication and analysis. The confinement of the schizo in the hospital has several consequences. First of all, he is cut off from the outside world, deprived of his walk and all the potential connections that might be available to him. Isolating the schizo means removing him from the plan of immanence of desire, preventing him from actualizing himself. The psychiatric hospital is control, everything is done so that the schizo can no longer connect to anything, no more cuts, no more flows and no more intensities. And without any possible actualisation of the desiring machines, all that remains is the cycle of delirium.

These strata; although they organize and absorb a certain materiality; have a tendency to run away to a ever-increasing degree of abstraction.
