I don’t care about your shitty life, but I’m going to talk about the past decade of mine.

At 16, after having interesting ideas for a while, I decide to write my ideas down. It’s forced at first, and doesn’t feel like when I think them naturally, but then one comes to me.
The law of patterns - if something works in one arena, it likely works in another.
You appreciate the warmth more after having been very cold. That’s a pattern. The field of mathematics works on finding and following patterns, so these are worth noting.
The more scientific / ‘real’ a pattern is, the more applicable it is to everything. This would be called a Law.
This is why the Free Masons bass a theory of enlightenment off of stone masonry.

When I was 17, I asked myself ‘why is it that we can consciously control the ‘neurons, synapses, etc etc’ for the movement of our fingers, but not for the parts of our body that make [e.g. serotonin] produce?’
Serotonin contributes to the feeling of pleasure, so I experimented by trying to feel pleasure automatically / without external stimuli or thinking emotional thoughts. During the span of a car ride (passenger), I made myself feel as if I had taken a Valium.
This, along with other theorizing, lead to a coherent philosophy as well as some very deep meditative experiences. My theorizing comes to a head, and I feel as if I’ve made some real progress. The first I’ve ever made in my life. I’m 18 years old.
I feel that the next step is to experience life and work toward some of the goals I came up with.
