Could you screenshot what you mean? That's not at all what it looks like from my end. It looks just like a regular wiki.

You can determine content and country of origin by where they're placed on the wiki, or by their title. If you look at the colored dots on that one, it lets you know whether it falls more within the movement Surrealism or simply the style. People who read by country would most likely choose their recs off the by origin page. If they were really concerned, they could click the wiki link to the work in the table above the charts, which records year of publication when possible, and it tells them pretty quick who/where it was written, plus a generally Wikipedia summary.

Obviously the best way to get recs is to get them personally tailored for your tastes. But that'd be pretty impossible for the wiki to do.

I'm looking for top notch journalism. In-depth, well researched and beautifully written articles and essays.

Where should I look /lit/? Content is less important than quality. If you have journal or magazine recs I'm into that.

To keep the thread alive post your favorite article/essay.

Here's a whole chart of flash fiction. It should be perfect for people with small attention spans. Most stories in flash fiction collections are 1-2 pages in length.

That's rather silly. Walser, Bernhard, Brautigan, Kawabata - they shouldn't have been /allowed/ to write these works?

Thought you were going off it too - the flash fiction and short short stories list. It's the one the Iran guy is picking from.

Try some flash fiction. My personal favorites are Kawabata, Walser and Brautigan.

Most of the charts don't even cover books that are especially "mainstream." They're either the basics of whatever subject they're covering or a compilation of recommended books of that type throughout /lit/'s history.
