hey /lit/, around 10 years agos i read a book

the book was about a young girl that went to her older boyfriend's
house and ended up being trapped there by her boyfriend.
the boyfriend also turned people into monsters by some way

i remember the boyfriend had a servant who looked like a monster and had a mask i think
i remember the boyfriend had guard dogs to keep the girl from leaving his property
i remember that near the end of the book the girl is in a pit and ends up fainting.

the book was about 200 pages id say

in the edition i read the cover art was of the servant's mask
that looked kind of like jason's one from friday the 13th

does anyone know this book? i cant remember the title
