I guess that many people here are at least bilingual.

Why is it so hard to remember all the vocabularies? Even though I use English every day, mostly reading (4chan or other news) but also watching shows, have troubles writing. I have no difficulties reading most things but when it comes to writing, I never know how to phrase a sentence correctly and I have a hard time remembering all these nice words I learned once.

How is it for polyglots? I can only imagine the frustration I would encounter speaking more than 3 languages. Dont you forget many words so that eventually you only know the basic vocabulary?

Is belief a choice?

I really hate racists with an unimaginable level of bile, the kind literally involves extended murder fantasies (obviously that makes using 4chan pretty tough). Today I realized that the only difference between me and them is that they hate people for circumstances of their birth while I hate people for their choices

The problem is though, can you choose what you believe? I can say the words "the sky is red" over and over again to myself but I can only ever see it as blue, I can never choose any other belief.

I've been an atheist for years but that didn't stop me from trying a huge number of religions, and yet I never once believed what I practiced, even though I tried to choose my belief system

How do you deal with a restrictive personal writing style?

I've wanted to write a sad short story lately, but my style is more built around fantasy concepts that strike me as cool in the moment. I've been trying for two days to put the story I have on paper but since it's so different from what I usually write I'm only about 200 words in and struggling to move foreward

ambition creates an artificial meaning of life, but most who are ambitious will never amount to anything that satisfies them. Is there a point to ambition when doubt exists?
