I've been an atheist my whole life but I've been reading through the gospels recently and I've been blown away by the sayings of Jesus, absolute sublime beauty. I don't know if I'll ever be able to believe in God or the resurrection, but it's made me reflect on myself

Finished Matthew and Mark. Is Luke going to be pretty much the same thing again? Was considering jumping to the Epistles or the Old Testament so I don't get sick of the repetition

In the New Testament, Jesus claims the world will end within the lifetime of those who are alive at the same time as him. These statements are still considered canon even though this never happened later in the series.
