What was his crime /lit/?

>both have a "perfect" feel when you are playing/reading

The world that both works of art inhabit are on the same course that they were on at the beginning of the protagonist's journey and their end.

what's the appeal of this book? currently reading it and i'm not really seeing what makes it so special, i was expecting a more emotional pull, kind of like what you get with the metamorphosis
