I envy you BAfags. Must be nice to study language, art, beauty and ideas. I can't live without muh science though.

>Yet another thread turns into a discussion of cucking

I fucking hate this board, but I know I can't leave. Is this my punishment for watching cuck porn once? Did I sell my soul to Blacked dot net?

The true artist has no acquaintances, but pisses in bottles and shitposts on Vietnamese basket weaving forums all day long. Truly, my friend, you know nothing of art!

In chapter 4 there's this piece of dialogue that I can't understand:

>"It was a distinction, my dear Dorian--a great distinction. Most people become bankrupt through having invested too heavily in the prose of life. To have ruined one's self over poetry is an honour. But when did you first speak to Miss Sibyl Vane?"

>"The third night. She had been playing Rosalind. I could not help going round. I had thrown her some flowers, and she had looked at me--at least I fancied that she had. The old Jew was persistent. He seemed determined to take me behind, so I consented. It was curious my not wanting to know her, wasn't it?"

>"No; I don't think so."

>"My dear Harry, why?"

>"I will tell you some other time. Now I want to know about the girl."

But he never told Dorian why it wasn't curious for him not wanting to know her. Can someone explain what Lord Henry was thinking?

Hey /lit/,
I'm reading The Picture Of Dorian Gray and Androphilia right now. What is some essential gay reading? Not particularly interested in trans history.
Anything from the 20th and 21st century is interesting to me. Starting from Magnus Hirschfeld and ending with gay culture and science today.
