Thank you for the advice and I mostly agree but here's the problem:

I am deciding between the Stockholm School of Economics and Oxford as I live and want to work in Sweden (although I don't mind moving to an English speaking country like Singapore). They have equal reputation here in Sweden but the former is a traditional business & economics degree while the later is more fun.
If it wasn't Oxford I'd think that PPE is a memeish and not useful education. My fear is that this conviction will be reflected in the work place.

I'm not sure if your serious or not but I don't find medicine attractive and if I did I'd study where I live(Sweden) as there is no pre-med and only medical school which the admissions is only dictated by test scores OR grades.
