As I've already told you lad, I come here not to blow smoke, but to have discussions about things I read, politics, philosophy and history. I like to come here to make my arguments more erudite and fleshed out. There is absolutely no other place, in real life or on the internet, where free argumentation is allowed as much as it is here.

Well then you must not be in the right threads, because I've seen and participated in massive discussions on all sorts of topics that I think are important.

When did I say you should leave and become more productive? I said you should stop consuming. All things in moderation; you can come to 4chan and browse/lurk/post without consuming, like I do, but I made the claim that the reason you assume I'm here just to shitpost 24/7 is because you yourself are doing that, and in turn, are forcing your own observations of yourself on others here. Yes, I shitpost and joke around occasionally, but the vast majority of the time I spend here is spent having good conversations with people and improving my own understanding of topics I enjoy talking about, and I definitely don't spend all day here.

I never said browsing this board makes you intelligent, I said I come here to flesh out my arguments with people willing to discuss topics I'm interested in and deem important. Don't attribute your own intentional misinterpretations of what I'm saying, to me. I have no clue why you think what I do leads to the "decline of the board," and I don't see how you came to the idea that proper arguments and conversations are leading to the decline of the board moreso than constant bait threads and basedposters. I think you have the misunderstanding that I am from /pol/ - I am not, and I have spent almost no time on that board since I discovered 4chan years ago, outside of happenings.
