I'm not talking about "profit" in the concrete sense of dollars, pounds, yen, etc, I'm talking about profit in the sense that you get my resources as an advertiser does, as somebody interested in literature, my attention, my time, and my social networks. Unless you're offering something of comparative value, something more substantial than the goodfuzzies I get from being in a refined writers club - likely you and some other likely mediocre lit writers putting on airs and giving mediocre workshopping - it's a shit deal.

"Sifting through the garbage" said earlier implies a garbage dump, which you'd know if you were a decent writer. Stop dissembling.
