You're actually right.

He used to be close to the whole alt-lit scene (pic related), but he fell out with Zachary German after he wrote like three chapters in hsi book about exactly the same thing Tao had written about.

He only hangs out with Megan Boyle and I think Jordan Castro now, and that's only because Megan Boyle fucks all the alt-lit people

>tfw you will never be a Tao Lin clone and hang out at alt-lit parties with other clones and spend the whole time talking about Tao until you all get really drunk and the mildly attractive but slightly overweight girl with the black polka-dat dress and Daphne glasses says you kinda look like him and she makes out with you then writes about it on her blog and says it was an attempted rape on your part

Hey /lit/

I've been reading and listening to a lot of authors and their view of where the novel is currently at, and where it's going.

So far most of them are saying (Chuck Palahniuk, Bret Easton Ellis to name two) that the good 'blockbuster' novel, which hits the mainstream and whatever, is dead. Palahniuk especially says he thinks that literature in the near future will be divided into small groups/genres, and the books produced by authors in these genres will only be known within these genres/groups

What do you think faggots?
