Because he explains things so well and speaks so eloquently it feels like it should be harder than what it really is. He taps into our collective unconscious, or at least the main threads of current cultural debate in the zeitgeist.

At this point he could honestly start a cult and his fans would carry out anything he says no matter what it is. I feel sucked in by his mesmerising talks and his orating skill. I never used to give a shit about biblical stories but now I feel like I want to be religious. Its fucking scary how this guy sucks you in. I spend literally hours every day listening to repeats of his podcasts and every YouTube clip that features him. I cannot get enough of this guy.

I first heard about Solzhenitsyn by Meme Man.

He really is an interesting guy to read, and its really entertaining on a page-by-page basis. He's a great writer. I thought I would just read V1, then stop, but i'll probably go straight to V2 after this.

Yeah, he's definitely a meme, but he's just so captivating to listen to. The stuff he lectures about is very interesting and you can branch out from his lectures to pursue anything that interests you. His beliefs are quite reasonable in general, he's not overly edgy and he weaves/name drops good books all the time.
