You know how when you read a book that you read many years ago, and you can't remember how the story went; and then you read it and go "Ah yeah it went like this and that!"?. That shows that you had not truly forgotten about the book, and that the memories just weren't accessible to your conscious mind.

I've been trying to cure my nihilism/pessimism with philosophies, religion and wholesomeness, to no avail.
I think in the end of the day humans really are just pathetic animals who are only satisfied winning in the social/sexual competition hierarchy.
