I would recommend being extremely well-read in Nietzsche and being very familiar with Bergson. Deleuze is a real historian of philosophy, a pure metaphysician. I would not start with Anti-Oedipus. Desert Islands, Repetition and Difference, Capitalism and Schizophrenia, Thousand Plateaus would be a good progression.

Trying to get into Japanese literature. What didn't you like about Dazai? Haven't read anything about him yet.
What is your favorite Bernanos? I've only read Mouchette and it was incredible.

Excitement bubbled out from beneath the blue eyes of young Nathan, such that he could not but help to drain the pressure with a smile. His sister was to return from school in an hour and, at that point, they could continue with the experiments.
There had been a half-day at pre-school and so Nathan had to wait especially long for his sister’s return, and being that patience is a trait not learned until well into adulthood, Nathan idly watched cartoons, his imagination wandering with the anticipation of the pleasure that awaited him. When the day-dreams and afternoon cartoons no longer placated the unwaitefulness spreading from his thoughts to his heart and to the tips of all his fingers, which twitched with a rhythm that raced his heart, he decided to wait outside.
His father never noticed Nathan’s wandering, the experiments, or much at all. He had grown up in a day where kids were left to themselves, and the trouble they’d get into was what made them grown. And when Nathan would fall off his bike and skin his knee, he would let inevitable tears stream his rose-bud cheeks, and his father would feel a deep cringe take in his chest, and mutter: ‘It’s good for you.’
His father had been raised this way and he was now an ER doctor, he believed he could only conquer the morbidity of his job because he was raised in this way, unlike the contemporary parenting styles which favored to coddle the child.
Nathan took wait on the swingset to the side of the house. A bogenveya reached in blooms to shade out the sweltering day, dripping countless little pink-flowers to blanket the soil. As Nathan reached the heights of the forward swing he could just but see the street over the fence. Everytime his sister had still not arrived he gave the flowers a kick as he returned to earth, making little clouds of pink-blooms flat across the backyard.

The ambition is incredible anon, I wish you great things. Could you post it in Portuguese? Are you Brazilian? It's a very underappreciated language, many Brazilians read Spanish literature, but not so much the other way.

You have a good command of the language. I understand that the female character is a robot, but she is not given enough life before it's revealed for that to be at all shocking. I read it waiting for the twist, at first I thought she was kidnapped before she was taken on a walk outside. I would suggest some dialogue before it's revealed.

I'm majoring in Linguistics and Archaeology at a UC school. I will most likely be given a meaningless position in the business of my grandfather's brother after I fail at becoming a Professor
