Any philosophers that try to refute solipsism and skepticism? It seems to me that nothing can be really known, except for maybe the fact that we have experiences and perceptions of things. I’m not sure how one can prove the existence of an objective world outside of conscious experience, or causality, etc. when none of it is actually necessary to explain the fact that I am having a conscious experience right now. If causality isn’t real, then there is nothing problematic about my conscious experience existing as it is inexplicably. It just exists. The hard problem of consciousness, the question of existence, all of these questions are assuming external reality and non-conscious material and causality, without which there is no problem.

Why does no one ever talk about how cosmic this book is?
