I agree. About halfway through them, I think your twenties are about having fun but also laying a foundation for the rest of your life not to suck. There's an oft-cited Hunter S. Thompson quote from types like OP:

>“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!”

Usually omitted is the fact that Thompson shot himself in the head a decade later.
