How good are the Elric books guys? Can they be read standalone or should I read the whole Eternal Champion Multiverse as well? Also, just out of curiosity, how plagiarised is the Witcher series in comparison?

Is this book worth getting? I'm aware it's mostly a retrospective look at the saga rather than a full novel, but I don't know where else to start other than with the prequel? Is Elric even worth it in the first place?
