Why would you suffer through twenty (20) collections of poetry by someone you hated?

Why, having suffered so, would you then READ A NOVEL BY THE GUY?

What is quietly wonderful about this is the reviewer's admission that he slogged through all twenty (20) of the guy's poetry collections, grinding his teeth over every one. Hmm... do you really hate him as much as you claim, Mr Madonald?

P.S. If "Vi Macdonald" is a woman and wants to be referred to as such she should get a better first name that makes it more obvious.
