You're not larping if you're actually going to church, praying, and generally trying to live the way the bible tells you to. It's not even debatable that things were better when we were a Christian nation, and not a nihilistic tranny totalitarian economic zone, which is why everyone had the natural desire to go back to those times.

Young Christians realize that their elders have wisdom and deserve honor and respect. Progressives who laugh at that are gonna find THEMSELVES old one day, begging the minimum-wage orderly at the retirement home to change their diaper for them. Should've put their treasure in heaven, where moth and rust don't destroy it

What order should I read the books of the New Testament? Should I read Mark first because Matthew and Luke are based on that?

Yes. I'd say it's because of the state of the world. We live amongst vast vast pleasures, we have opportunities to medicate and coom our way through life. But that's wrong. It harms our souls, we give in to earthly desires, we cheapen and abuse our own bodies. Many will go through life this way completely oblivious, the deep disgust instinct we have is constantly suppressed by social standards, political views, and drugs.
Such problems have always existed but never has it been so bad. I doubt I could be so strongly Christian if I was born in another time. You see the whoring out with onlyfans and prostitution, the hyper sexuality, homo sexuality, transgenderism, lies, dishonesty, violence, the scummy financial system, people dying of drugs or going homeless while their government sends soldiers and money abroad. It's deeply disheartening in a way, but it only drives you further towards the middle of the righteous path. I've developed a revulsion seeing how these things lead us astray. Cooming and porn are now sick to me. Using people like meat then discarding them strikes me deeply on a very intimate level. Those who flagrantly lie have become far less in my eyes.

All of this culminates into a sobering, and yet profoundly sad, worldview. We recognise the great things of the world. We see these little things in our daily actions and those of others. Being kind and courteous, being truthful and honest, being forgiving and not too hot tempered. But also in standing up for what's right despite all social and worldly opposition. Something so obviously harmful by porn enjoys a large spot on the internet and yet someone can have their life ended by saying the wrong thing on twitter. Porn which corrupts the minds of young men and women alike, creates an addiction in many men and leads to women participating like with this tinder/onlyfans trend. It's so astonishingly corrupt. It takes the most physically and spiritually intimate action any man and woman can share together and turns it into a sick hedonistic method of pleasure extraction. But people like it nonetheless, they want to coom.

We really do live in a fallen world. That fact always hangs in the foreground of modern life. But we can't become doomers because of it. Jesus appreciates our struggle, and he will always wait on us.

>2 Timothy 1:7-9

>7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
>8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of >the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
>9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own >purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Man, I think you need to read the Bible. There aren’t questions you need to be bugging people about. This shit isn’t hard and you’re throwing so much assumptive attitude in all your posts.

Do you know Numbers and Leviticus are about? Read Your Bible!! Stop asking anons why Bible does X. You’re criticizing it without reading the book! You’re reviewing a movie based on not actually watching the movie. Stop watching the reviews. Stop watching the spin off inspirations. Just Read your Bible. It will make more sense the more you read it. Jesus wasn’t an idiot, nor were the disciples.God is a personal relationship anyways, stop letting others sway you from just reading and understanding it all yourself. If you’re serious on your journey toward truth, use free lectures online from professors and prestigious universities, they have FREE college classes on theological matters from Princeston, Yale, etc. give them a watch. Keep learning. Keep growing.

Christ is the opposite of anarchy. Although he came to bring division (sword), yet he brings peace to His lost sheep. This is Christ being divided from all other ways. Broad and narrow is the road that leads to hell. Straight and narrow is the path, not to the left nor to the right. By following Christ you will not get along with everyone, you’re pursuing agape love as a uniquely Christian virtue, dead to sin, a city on a hill that cannot be hid.

Forgiving thy brother seventy times seven when he trespasses against you. Merciful to the merciless. Forgiving to the unforgiving. Loving to the unlovable. Love god with all your strength, all your might and all your soul. Love thy neighbor as thyself. Who is your neighbor? Why the Good Samaritan from the tribe you hate. He is Humble, wise, hallowed in name and spirit. Our salvation. My Lord and God Jesus Christ. He is the Way the Truth the Life. Do you not see how Christ’s teachings are incompatible with Marx?

My friend told me he'd convert to catholicism if I could point to a logical proof that'd prove it to be true and not just the shroud of turin or feelings. I argued the pragmatic side, is there anyone on here that could not only provide logical proof that God exists but also that Jesus Christ is his son and did do the miracles attested to in the gospels?

>Yeah I've read the bible. Fear of Hell will probably make me back down anyway.
When you accept Christ, he doesn't ever leave. You should pray, bro. I mean that. Even for a non-believer prayer to God is a powerful practice.

>I don't know. It seems like a long shot, and who would they buy them from if they're interested?
I don't know. Cormac McCarthy sent his first work to random house. Or maybe try Little Brown.

Buy some Chekhov or Salinger. Maybe an apocryphal book of the Bible or two. Really though you should wait until you have something in mind that YOU want to purchase.

The Episcopal Church considers the Bible to be neither infallible nor inerrant, yet affirms both the Nicene and Apostles' Creeds. Does this mean the core story of Christ (that he was born of a virgin, died for our sins and was risen on the third day) are true, but everything else in the Gospels are up for challenge?
