the alternative would be to believe that human beings become sexually mature and hyperactive because we are supposed to learn everything about debauchery on the internet (all previous civilizatoins were just a chrysalis) before we can bring what we've learned to fruition and be massive whores, men and women alike. This seems to be by design.

the whole thing is just a scheme of social engineering in order to try to stay ahead in an industrialized world. Admittedly the incentives are strong.
