lol. Yeah it's very cringe and fanfiction tier amateurish but I don't think you deserved to be humiliated, but maybe consider what subject matter is appropriate for class first. But yeah, that story sucked balls. I hope you weren't discouraged by the ordeal though. And if you're to write story in a pseudo historical setting, do research a bit more about the real world counter parts—allows for a better constructed world.
